Make This Trend Go Away!

I might be alienating a lot of people by writing this post so I apologize in advance but.... #sorrynotsorry (yes, I just hashtagged and yes, it's now a verb). Also, if you're my friend in real life, I will not let you wear these in public.

But seriously, why? I just don't believe you really like these. I'm sure I've worn things that I probably shouldn't have because I was swept up by a trend. Unfortunately, an example doesn't come to mind. Convenient, right? :) Agh, there's so much more I want to say about these but I'm scared my sarcasm may come off as incredibly offensive so I'll stop for now.  And instead, I'll leave you off with some of my favorite sandal picks so we can start the weekend on the right note! :)

  1. I'm not a fan of those shoe either. I remember when they came back in style last year woman were flying in to DSW asking for them. Lucky at that time DSW. Didn't have them. I like and wear the other sandals you picked out.

  2. I don't hate them, but I do think they would be difficult to fit everyone, seeing as they zip all the way up to your knees.

  8. I've seen these shoes pop up on blogs and the like, but haven't seen anyone in real life wearing them...but then again, there's still snow on the ground. I know this is a trend I won't be participating in. The combination of VERY short legs, probable fat protruding out the openings and the thought of how uncomfortable they look....just no.

  9. ugh amen! I don't mind leggings if they aren't sheer and if the top is long enough.... or if they're for working out haha!

  11. I'm not a fan of them either. I also don't like the shoes and boots with all the cut outs. It just looks like part if your show is missing to me. (I'm not talking about cute little laser cut flowers, but the ones with whe pieces cut out) there are just some trends I don't get.
